Right now she is volunteering with a Native Plant Center collecting seeds for restoration projects, organizing work parties with her neighborhood to restore their green spaces, and also enjoys vegetable and native plant gardening at home. Her love of nature shows in her work, as most of her pieces are inspired by nature. The materials, shapes, or colors are motivated by interesting plants and animals, and many are made with natural components like stone and wood. She loves to create jewelry that people will enjoy wearing – it’s a creative outlet to balance the science in her life!
