Do you remember the fad that swept the nation a few years ago when squishy, cute pencil top characters were first introduced? Well, I do! Every child wanted to collect them all to showcase atop their pencils! These SqwishLand characters were available in vending machines and were an instant hit! My J-Man had several and they were also used at his school that year as a “treasure box” reward! They were very sought after!
Well, the Soft `n squishy™ characters are back with a whole new line of fun for the kiddos! From do it yourself projects to the awesome online game, squishies are everywhere! The online game even has over 740,000 monthly active users! Wow!

J-Man’s Opinion: This is a really cool toy. I loved being able to paint it the way I wanted to and make it all my own. It allowed me to make it look the way I think it should. Anybody who likes to paint and create will like this toy. The online community is really cool also. I really like playing on the computer and this game was a lot of fun. I can’t wait to spend more time playing.
Mama’s Opinion: As the mom of a crafty kid, I often have a hard time finding items that he will enjoy that will engage his imagination as well. The DIY Sqwishland frog is fantastic. J-Man spent over an hour deciding what colors looked best and trying to figure out the best way to paint him. In the end he had a masterpiece that he was so proud of. It was a nice break for him to be able to sit down and just create! If you have a crafty kid, this is a great toy for you! I also loved the online community. J-Man was able to create his own avatar and be as unique with it as he wanted. He could then play games, explore different places and even chat with friends. This is a really great game that is very G rated so that you don’t have to worry about what your child is playing. I’m sure the Sqwishland game will be played for a long time in our house and the DIY Sqwishland frog now has a place of honor in the kitchen!
