You see, part of being a baseball mom is preparing and presenting fun snacks to the team after each game. While I know I totally could have gotten away with something simple (they are five ya’ll), I decided to get creative and make some simple Baseball Cookie Pops are are sure to score a home run at each and every game!
These easy to make baseball cookies pops are actually pretty simple and turn out amazingly cute! Here’s how to make them!
What You Will Need
Cookie Pop Sticks
2 Cups of White Candy Melts
1/2 Cup of Red Candy Melts
Piping Bag with a Small Tip
How to Make Them
While I know that Cake Pops are crazy popular right now, I like options that require a little less skill and already have the basic shape made. To start, I separated my sandwich cookies (I used vanilla ones since it’s easier to cover them in white) and melted my white candy melts just until they were liquid.
Then, using a spoon, I spooned a little of my melted white candy melts on to one side of the cookie and secured a cookie pop stick in the middle.
After adding the other side of my cookie back on to create the sandwich cookie again, I set it aside and let it set completely. Once my sandwich cookies were ready to dip, I stirred my white candy melts well and then gently dipped each of my cookies into the candy, covering the entire cookie and gently tapping it against the side of the bowl to help any excess drip off.
Again, my baseball cookie pops went on a piece of parchment paper to set completely.
Once the white candy shell was hardened on my baseball cookie pops, I added my red candy melts to a bowl and heated them until they were a liquid form. Then I simply transferred them into my piping bag with a small tip and piped baseball laces onto each of my baseball cookie pops.
After allowing the laces to harden, my baseball cookie pops were complete and ready to be served to the team! I placed them each in individual bags to transport them to their field and then gave them out after the game for a surprise that had all the kids cheering!
This easy to make snack of baseball cookie pops was a perfect post-game treat that all the kids were excited about and it was a cute way to add a little baseball flare to our regular snack routine!
Now tell me, who do you know that would love to celebrate a win with these baseball cookie pops?
